Eyam - Sketch of Main Street (1)

This scene looks down the Main Street in Eyam towards the Square, and its junction with the Dale. The Square is just around the corner of the buildings on the right - the one with the hoarding was in 1905, Froggatt & Son's Shop, later it belonged to Furnesses, and it is now a Spar ‘suparette’.

The road curves round on the left into Water Lane. We also have an Old Postcard of the Village which shows this same scene.
